Women of Excellence 2020
The featured speaker is Karen Teller, American Red Cross Tiffany Circle Board Member, who witnessed the Boston Marathon Bombing and offers a powerful account of the day that changed her life forever - how she witnessed Red Cross respond to the tragedy and has since led Team Red Cross in the Boston Marathon each year since.
Following Karen's speech, an esteemed group of Kansas City's own Women of Excellence will take the stage for a moderated panel discussion. Additionally, the first female chief of the Kansas City Missouri Fire Department, Donna Lake, will be honored.
